Certified Court Reporting and Video Services
NYC and Nationwide

Boardroom set up for a deposition with laptops and monitors

EDDM Litigation Consulting in an Executive Partnership with Hudson Reporting & Video has been providing expert court reporting services throughout New York tri-state area and nationwide since 1998. We have worked with some of the nation’s top law firms.

We can have a number of carefully selected certified court reporters covering hearings, witness testimony and other depositions nationally or abroad that your case takes you; and have covered jobs in Sweden, The UK, China, Australia, Hawaii, Hong Kong and Mexico.

We do not use court stenographers straight out of school. Your EDDM/Hudson Court reporter will have many years under his or her belts and will be experienced in most phases of litigation, including patent, medical malpractice, and arbitration. Most of our reporters are certified as Registered Professional Reporters and some with even higher certifications like Certified Realtime Reporters, Certified Shorthand Reporters and Certified Livenote Reporters.

In addition, our reporters are supported on-site by experienced videographers and technical staff as well as our office staff who are second to none in providing timely and accurate information and support for additional services.

Litigation is often a high stake proceeding for all parties involved; and how documents are managed, the evidence is presented and witnesses handled can make or break a case.

Our entire focus is to make an attorney’s job easier and more manageable by carefully pairing the reporter’s individual background and expertise with the case subject matter in the deposition. Our reporters are thoroughly vetted and have a breadth of experience beyond basic transcription techniques. You will not find more knowledgeable, dedicated and professional reporters anywhere else.

Coverage and Credentials

EDDM Litigation Consulting provides court reporting through an executive partnership with Hudson Reporting & Video, serving the New York tri-state area and nationwide since 1998. We have worked with some of the nation’s top law firms.

Coverage extends well beyond the United States. We have covered proceedings in Sweden, the United Kingdom, China, Australia, Hong Kong, Mexico and Hawaii.

Experienced Reporters Only

We do not staff matters with stenographers straight out of school.

Your EDDM/Hudson reporter will have years of experience across most phases of litigation, including patent, medical malpractice and arbitration work. Most are certified Registered Professional Reporters, and some hold higher certifications.

This matters because a reporter unfamiliar with the subject matter slows a deposition down. Technical terminology, expert testimony and multi-party examinations all go faster with someone who has done it before.

Services

  • Depositions — in person or remote, single or multi-party
  • Hearings and arbitrations
  • Witness testimony, including expert witnesses
  • Legal videography — synchronised with the transcript
  • International coverage

Who This Is For

  • Litigation teams that need a reporter who has handled their subject matter before
  • Firms running proceedings in multiple cities who would rather not source a new vendor each time
  • Matters with an international component, where finding qualified coverage abroad is the hard part
  • Cases where video and transcript need to be synchronised for trial presentation

Scheduling

1. Request. Tell us the date, location, matter type and whether video is required.

2. Assignment. We assign a reporter matched to the subject matter, not simply whoever is available.

3. Proceeding. Coverage in person or remotely, with videography if requested.

4. Delivery. Transcript delivered in your required format, with exhibits linked and video synchronised where applicable.

Common Questions

Can you cover a deposition outside the United States?
Yes. We have covered proceedings across Europe, Asia, Australia and Latin America. International scheduling needs more lead time — raise it as early as you can.

Do you provide videography as well as the transcript?
Yes, synchronised to the transcript so passages can be pulled directly for trial presentation.

Do you also handle interpreting for non-English witnesses?
Yes — see our certified legal translation and deposition interpreting service.

How quickly can transcripts be delivered?
Turnaround depends on length, certification requirements and whether expedited delivery is needed. We confirm the schedule when the job is booked. Contact us to schedule.
